Crafting Napa’s finest smart estate, vineyard to villa

What we did

Totally Wired stepped in to optimize this smart home from the ground up, transforming a complex vision into a flawless retreat. We streamlined every system—network, security, audio, lighting, and automation—tailoring each element to enhance daily life and security. Working closely with the client and a skilled team of trades, we fine-tuned the design to maximize comfort and control, culminating in a hands-on walkthrough that left them delighted with a perfectly integrated space.

Network

  • Ground up design from blueprints to completion

  • 11 WiFi Access Points (9 indoor and 2 outdoor)

  • Full Theater with 7.1 Surround Sound. Recessed 97” QLED, Apple TV, Onkyo Receiver, Triple tiered leather theater seating with accent lighting.
  • Outdoor Landscape Series Speaker system with 8 landscape satellite speakers and one in-ground subwoofer
  • 15 Sonos zones with audio tuning per room
  • 7 Sonos Arc Ultra Soundbars
  • 5 Sonos Subwoofers
  • 42 total Speakers through home

Lighting & Shades

  • Lutron RA3 Lighting (500+ devices)
  • Custom keypad engraving, colors and programming
  • Custom programming of entire system based on client’s preferences and living style
  • Lutron Motorized and automated Shades (integrated into whole-home scenes)

Automation

  • Apple Home control for every keypad/dimmer
  • Whole-home lighting, scene and sound control
  • Recessed in-wall iPads for built-in automation (in addition to global iPhone control)

Coordination

  • Close coordination with Electricians, Lighting Designer, General Contractor throughout project development
  • On-site walk through and hands-on use of all technology throughout the entire home with client.
